Its been almost a week that I didn't update this blog.If you ask me why, then I'll tell you the truth, I'm waiting for the opp or assignment to be done but since this blog was submitted to only one advertising network so obvoiusly there's not much of opportunities. But just recently, I submitted this blog to another advertising companies (reviewme and payperpost) and I'm still waitng for approval, I hope this blog will be approved soon. There is nothing new really..except that the hapifam members are happy seeing Arianna smilling everyday. She is now two months old and just had her 5-in-1 shot today. She was pretty brave during and after the shot..she only cried less than a minute. Here's the picture of her crying and smiling.

Feeding Tips

I have two tips to share on how to feed (bottle feeding) the baby. My all-around-maid told me these tips that really work well on the baby. Before, I can't let the baby finish her milk and I was worried that she won't get enough food to supply her needs. But now she drinks so fast and finish it in just few minutes. To those mothers who don't know about these tips yet, you can apply it to your baby as well. Here it goes : 1. Do not close the cap of the baby bottle so tightly, make sure that the air can get inside the bottle, just close it enough not to spill the milk out. 2. Use soft bottle nipples so it is easier for the baby to suck, make sure also that the hole is not too small.

Bonding Time

This is what life is all about..being with my kids and husband. There is nothing more I can ask for. I am happy with my life. I never been happy like this before. My kids and hubby make my world go round. I remember before (right after college), I thought it was the end of the world for me.I was unhappy when all of my friends gone for work.I felt so alone.They are happy with their job..I was not. I hate pressures in work and all I got was very low salary. All I want now is being a mother and a wife. But of course I like blogging as a part time job..ehehehe!

Amazing Dad

My children call him Daddy.. An amazing dad. I received great comments from my friends here about my husband's great personality. He's so sweet to Bienne, they always play non-stop when they are together. They even play MMA if possible ( I mean with Bienne). On the other hand, he's also so sweet to baby Arianna, big time. He can make Arianna smile the moment he would say something to her or play with the baby. Speaking of my amazing hubby, he's so hands-on to our baby, gosh I don't need to wake up every night to feed the baby..he does. In fact I can get my 7-8 hours sleep each night. I'm such a lucky wife/mom. Please don't change my luv, hehe!

Persimmon

Everyday except Saturday and Sunday, I hear my husband talking to his employee. They talk about his business in the US. I don’t listen though but when he talks about different names of plants to be planted in clients’ location, I listen. After their conversations, I do ask my husband what the plants look like and I have so many follow up questions about plants. I even asked him few times about the prices of the plants he purchased in the nursery. Most of the prices are really expensive. There is one item called a Persimmon trees that I’m curious about and I asked him if he also plant such tree, he said yes. Now I want to plant this tree in our backyard and eat the fruit someday.

Family Picture

We've been waiting for the time that Baby Arianna can be held in sitting position so we can take a nice angle for our family picture. I want to change my main profile picture here. If baby Anne can understand she might ask why she's not in the photo for Happy Family blog. This picture was taken today after church using automatic shot. I want to update her age by this post : Baby Anne is exactly 6weeks and four days.

Remedy for Excess Fats

After I gave birth six weeks ago, I was shocked when I saw my tummy, it looked like I was still six months pregnant. I didn’t expect this because when I had my first pregnancy, I had flat tummy immediately. Seeing my huge tummy, the first thing popped up in my head is to take weight loss pills to get rid of my excess fats. My OB said that nothing to worry about because after one month , my uterus will just shrink. She was right, now my tummy is back to normal as if I didn’t give birth.

Whatta Mall ... Wwooow!

Hapifam spends time in the mall few times a week just for walk and buy things that we needed. Today was the opening of the extension of Ayala Mall. We can't believe of what we saw. It is so beautiful! The huge landscape, water display (fountain), new stores, etc. You better visit the mall to believe..(walang cnabi ang Glorieta,lupig cla!hehe). After seeing the wwooww mall, we might spend our time everyday there. It is really pleasant to the eyes.

New Sleeping Schedule

Arianna's sleeping schedule is changed again. She is now sleeping the whole morning and evening for 2 consecutive already. I really like when she's sleeping those time of the day so that I can do my blogthing.

By the way something happened yesterday afternoon . I left the baby to the care of my husband and since baby was awake, she cried for more than an hour! I pity my husband because baby A was looking for my touch. I was not home for 3 hours because I fetched the new helper to the airport. My husband was exhausted and fell asleep on the bed and good thing the baby also slept a minute after hubby slept.

iNJECTION

Sad to say that Bienne's vaccination was not completed during her infancy... and so we are completing it these days. She had her shots last month and this month : a total of 3 injections. Last week she had her shot, a 3-in-1 injection. How tough Bienne is each time she has had a shot..she's not afraid of the needle. I think she is more brave than I was.. I'm still afraid of the injection now but not Bienne.

Back to Crib

Baby Anne slept on the couch day and night for about 10days..and now she is back to her crib. She's no longer a fussy baby girl. Last night, she slept 9 hours, meaning to say I was able to sleep for 8hours not only because she had long sleep but because my husband took care of her and fed her.

As you can see on the pic, that there should be music on so she'll have a good sleep. BabyA is a music lover. =)
